Beginner's Mambo Class Recap

We spent a full hour sweating at the Lotus Music and Dance Studio in Chelsea learning how to dance Mambo. Mambo is what is known as "dancing on 2" (or dancing off the beat as we learned), brought to NYC from Puerto Rican legend Eddie Torres. Our awesome instructor, Andreina Marrero, taught us Basic Steps, Side Steps, the Cross Step, Shines, Susie Q, technique and arm work. We had a great time and we hope to schedule another class soon!
